Chamomile tea
Chamomile is known to every European, North American, Asian and probably even Australian child, we dare say. The annual fragrant herb with white-yellow flowers is widespread everywhere. The truth is that it can be confused with field chamomile, which, unlike chamomile, has a rich flower bed. Growing 15-50 centimetres tall, the healing plant flowers from June to August. You will find it in crops, ditches and thickets from the lowlands to the foothills.
Dried chamomile flowers are not missing in any home pharmacy. Their use is limitless. They are used as an infusion or for making ointments, oils, inhalations and baths. They are anti-inflammatory, disinfect, heal, regenerate and relieve cramps. Chamomile helps with insomnia and colds, soothes bloating and bowel and stomach disorders, supports the nervous system, and relieves painful menstruation or menstrual disorders.
Externally, it is good to rub chamomile infusion on rashes, burns, and poorly healing wounds. Washing eyes with a weak decoction of chamomile has a good effect on eye problems.
