Hair & Complexion – Herbal Infusion
Taking care of your skin and hair starts much earlier than in your bathroom, and more importantly, on the inside. This herbal blend contains ingredients that were tied to these parts for who-knows-how-long – horsetail, burdock, linden tree, lavender, and marigold. It's more than just a treat; it's a daily beauty treatment.
Ingredients
Horsetails, Chamomile, Linden flower + leaf, Sage stick, Pot marigold, Fenugreek, Lavender, Burdock root, Rose petalsBrew & Taste
The infusion is light-colored, with a subtle golden hue. Its taste is mildly sweet and pleasantly herbal, with neither spicy notes nor bitterness. At first, it's extremely mild, but it will gradually become more distinctive, especially due to the salvia and fenugreek content. The smooth touch of linden tree and chamomile is also accompanied by the light floral note of lavender and rose in the finish.
Origins
The foundation of this blend is horsetail. In this infusion, it's primarily used to support your hair, nails, and skin. Horsetail is naturally rich in minerals and gets rid of excess water in your body. In addition, it promotes normal urinary tract function, liver function, and cardiovascular health, and is often included in cleansing regimens designed to help the body restore its internal balance.
Chamomile and linden are among the herbs we turn to when we need to slow down. Chamomile is known for its effects on digestion, immunity, and mental well-being, and many people choose it in the evening specifically for a more restful sleep. Linden adds support for the respiratory system, natural defenses, and a gentle sense of relaxation, which is perfect for days when life simply feels overwhelming.
Sage has a more pronounced character and is particularly appreciated by women. It helps maintain hormonal balance, provides greater comfort during the menstrual cycle, and is also useful when you need to keep in focus. It also aids digestion and supports the body’s natural defenses.
Calendula is an herb that has long been associated with skin care. It's included in teas primarily because it supports digestion, liver health, and overall detoxification of the body.
Fenugreek may not be as well-known, but its uses are all the more interesting. It supports normal blood sugar and cholesterol levels, aids digestion and lipid metabolism, and is often used when you need to regain your strength.
Burdock is mainly used for skin care and overall "rejuvenation". People also turn to it when they’re having digestive issues or when they feel like their body needs a little relief.
Lavender beautifully softens the whole experience. Its scent alone is soothing. Plus, it helps you slow down, clear your mind, and fall asleep a little more easily at night.
Rose holds a special place in promoting women’s well-being, digestion, and inner balance. It’s also used in skincare.
If you want to get the most out of this blend, enjoy one cup a day for about four weeks. Herbs don’t work overnight, but their effects will become apparent gradually.
