The infusion is translucent, slightly green with yellow reflections. The taste is slightly herbal, with distinct notes of nettles smoothed down by fragrant mint. The aftertaste slowly unfolds into the fruit notes of sea buckthorn and rosehip accompanied by a mild, slightly sweet flavor of elderflowers. The entire impression feels natural, light, and balanced.
Origins
Almost everyone who has ever walked through nature in shorts is familiar with stinging nettles. This inconspicuous but kinda painful herb grows throughout Europe and Asia and has gradually spread to South America. You can find it along roadsides, in meadows, and in gardens. People have been using it for centuries thanks to its high nutrient and vitamin content. It’s associated with vitality, natural immunity, and physical balance.
Traditionally, nettle is also used when the body needs to promote water excretion and restore bones, hair, and nails to their normal condition.Sea buckthorn has an almost sacred reputation in the Himalayas. Ayurveda and Chinese medicine have been using it for thousands of years, and in recent years it has spread to Europe. Its distinctive orange fruits taste bittersweet and can be used to make syrups and jams. The dried berries are also often added to teas. Sea buckthorn has up to ten times more vitamin C than oranges.
For generations, sea buckthorn has been used to strengthen the body's natural defenses, maintain healthy skin, and aid digestion.
As for chamomile, its scent alone is soothing to most of us. This herb has so many benefits that it’s used in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals and is also found in most herbal tea blends.
Chamomile is known for its support of digestion, mental balance, and relaxing properties.
Peppermint is associated with digestive system activity, contributes to refreshing the body and mind, and completes the feeling of lightness after each sip.
Elderberry and rosehip also offer interesting health benefits. Rosehip adds lightness to the blend and helps tone the body and mind. Hibiscus, on the other hand, supports vitality and normal vascular system function. Blackberry and elderflower traditionally complement teas focused on natural water excretion and the body's defenses.
Lemongrass adds a popular citrus freshness to the tea, while orange peel brings a slight bitterness. Nettle Detox with Sea Buckthorn combines fruits and herbs from around the world, from the Asian tropics to European meadows to Mediterranean gardens.
