Ingredients
Orange peel, Ginger chunks, Cinnamon, Liquorice root, Juniper berries, Cardamom, Dandelion root, Chamomile, Black Pepper, Angelica rootBrewing & Taste
Cassia cinnamon lays the base for warm, lightly sweet tea accompanied by a soft, sugary tone of licorice and a spicy aroma of ginger, black pepper and cardamom. Juniper, dandelion root, chamomile and angelica ground the taste with earthy, calming tones. This brew of light gold color is invigorating for the senses, yet calming for the mind.
Origins
The origins of this tea stem from various herb-loving and spice-devoted regions and cultures. Cassia cinnamon, revered for its intense fragrance and deep color, comes from jungles of Southeast Asia. Licorice, with its roots in India and the Middle East, is traditionally considered a source of balance and often used to boost energy as well as metabolism and immune and nervous systems. Ginger and cardamom from the Indian subcontinent are for centuries considered pillars of a good immune system and healthy gut too, while black pepper – lovingly dubbed “The King of all spices” in Southern Asia – works as an antioxidant.
The blend is completed with some European herbs such as juniper and dandelion, which are known for their detoxification qualities. Chamomile is traditionally known for its properties in relation to mental health and relaxation and angelica root, highly regarded in European folk medicine, brings in the earthy tones and finishes of the colorful origins of this tea. The balance of Western and Eastern tradition makes for a unique, calming experience.
Every herb is carefully selected and sourced from verified distributors with high quality standards and a high regard for tradition.
