Harmonious Tulsi – Ayurvedic Tea
Tulsi is a slightly less known relative of basil. However, it is considered sacred in the Orient and is the most prominent herb in Ayurveda. It is said to ward off demons and bring love to families. Tulsi has amazing health benefits, too: It will help you strengthen what you need and wash away what you no longer want. And here you'll find it improved with green rooibos, chamomile, lavender and cinnamon.

Origins
Except for the rooibos, we buy all our ingredients in one place – from a certified European supplier. This guarantees that the selection, preservation and storage of the ingredients is given the utmost attention and care. It is also the suppliers duty to carry out regular chemical analyses, and regularly test any contents of heavy metal or other residues of industrial pollution. In such cases, the entire batch of raw materials is withdrawn from sale.
Rooibos is imported from South Africa. It is made from the Cape tea plant, a 150cm tall herb that grows exclusively in the mountains around the Cederberg. The green twigs and needle-like leaves are harvested in early autumn. They are chopped by special machines into smaller pieces and dried. The green rooibos that is in this loose tea is not fermented.
Tulsi, or holy basil, grows in India at altitudes of up to 1800m. It is perennial, growing to about 1m, with hairy leaves and has a green to reddish color. The tiny flowers resemble mint or dead-nettles. Its used in folk medicine.
When we thought up this tea, our main goal was to blend one that was delicious, refreshing, revitalizing and balances your energy. Thanks to the power of the herbs and spices, it works out perfectly.
