Elixir of Eternal Life – Green Tea
Asia is full of secrets. Apparently, people there live to be a hundred, smile all the time, don't suffer from colds nor coughs, and they look great to boot. How do they do it? They meditate a lot, exercise, eat healthy and, most importantly, drink green tea all day long.
Ingredients
Green tea Sencha, Green tea Ming Mee, White tea Pai Mu Tan, Green tea China Gunpowder Super, Green tea China Wu-Lu, Natural aroma, Blackcurrant, Redcurrant, Ginseng root, Cornflower, Apricot chunks (apricot, rice flour), Jasmine flowerBrew & Taste
The luxurious aroma captures your attention immediately after opening the bag. Five green teas provide Elixir of Eternal Life with a pleasant grassy base that is deliciously complemented by notes of jasmine, currant and apricot. The infusion has a beautiful yellow sparkle. When tasted shortly after pouring, it has the typical elements of green teas – a slight but not unpleasant bitterness and a fragrant grassy freshness. The very next sensation is an intense taste of sweet apricot and a jasmine aftertaste. When cooled, the natural characteristics of green teas stand out and a gentle sweetness lingers on the palate for a long time.
Origins
Elixir of Eternal Life is sourced partly from Asian producers and partly from suppliers in EU countries. Of course, we have brought in high-quality green teas from proven Chinese plantations. Green sencha, Ming Mee, Pai Mu Tan, gunpowder and Wu Lu are all teas of exceptional qualities. They are grown, harvested and produced under the most rigorous conditions. Therefore, it is impossible to find tea dust or scraps from the production in our tea blends.
The sencha in this tea has beautiful, whole needles, while the gunpowder is recognizable by its typical bead-like shape. The white Pai Mu Tan tea can be detected by the fine, light hairs on the surface of the leaves, while Wu Lu is characterized by light green, very small leaves. Of course, the popular Chinese Ming Mee is also present. The icing on the cake is the mythical Jiaogulan – a special species of ginseng. We sourced it from Thailand, where it is considered one of the most beneficial herbs in the world. It's also why Jiaogulan has earned the title of Thailand's herb of immortality.
We always buy red and blackcurrants, apricots, cornflowers and jasmine flowers from only the most excellent suppliers who process whole, large pieces of healthy fruit via freeze-drying. This preserves the fruit, but does not lose its valuable substances, color, flavor nor aroma.
