Evening Star – Ayurvedic Tea
Evening Star is an extremely harmonious, fragrant and soothing tea. We blended it according to the teachings of Ayurveda, with your mental and physical health in mind. This beautiful, rich infusion of light yellow color has a balanced aroma. The initial flavor is of fresh tangerine as well as apples, chamomile and a hint of cardamom. The overall impression is pleasantly herbal, sweet, and natural.

Everything in this except for cinnamon, passion fruit and cardamom was sourced from the EU. Cinnamon is cultivated mainly in Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon), but it is also grown in other parts of the tropics. It is the bark of evergreen cinnamon trees, which are harvested two to three years after they are planted. It is used in the food industry, pharmaceuticals, perfumery, medicine and cosmetics.
Passionfruit is native to America, Australia and Asia. It is a perennial vine with beautiful flowers. Its aromatic fruits are widely used in gastronomy and folk medicine.
Cardamom is native to India, but is also grown in Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Guatemala. Up to 4m tall, this herb has flat leaves and the fruit is a green capsule containing brownish-red seeds. They are used as a rare spice, one of the basic ingredients in Indian cuisine.

We pack our teas in a strong, zip-lock aluminum packet which allows you to easily re-seal its contents. This container protects the quality of the tea against humidity, light or foreign odors, all of which could noticeably affect the quality of the brew.

Instructions for preparation
Pour 150-200ml of boiled water (100°C) per 1 teaspoon of tea.
When brewing in a teapot add 1 extra teaspoon.
Covered, let steep for 3-5 minutes, then remove the strainer.
