Springtime Detox Organic
Searching for a dose of energy and vitality? Look no further! This green mix will kickstart your immunity, detox your body and improve your energy levels. We employed some of the nature’s superheroes: chlorella and spirulina for antioxidants and vitality, moringa and green barley for vitamins and minerals and maitake for a subtle mushroom flavor. Springtime Detox tastes just like a mix of forest, sea and meadow. Add it to a smoothie or a juice and make your life greener.
Ingredients
Chlorella Vulgaris BIO, Organic spirulina, Moringa powdered leaves BIO, Organic green barley, Maitake BIOBrew & Taste
Springtime detox has an intense grassy, earthy and slightly bitter taste that’s reminiscent of fresh grass, seaweed and a little bit of mushrooms. Powdered chlorella and spirulina give it a hint of umami while moringa adds spicy bitterness and green barley end with refreshing, natural sweetness. Maitake adds a mushroom-y aftertaste and a mild nutty aroma.
Origins
The time has come for waking up and detoxing. Get a new start no matter what time of the year it is – what’s better than to leave behind what we don’t need and kickstart your organism anew. We blended this special mix from a selection of natural superfoods to best support your immunity, give you energy and help your body detox. Each ingredient is a little miracle in itself and together, they make a strong team that will start up your organism.
What’s inside this blend? A quintet of strong, every-day companions!
Chlorella is a freshwater algae native to clean lakes and ponds around the world. It’s considered a strong antioxidant and has a whole range of positive properties. It has a round shape and the vibrant green color signals its high chlorophyl content.
The benefits of chlorella include:
• normal function of the digestive tract
• supporting the immune system
• normal function of your liver and cardiovascular system
• detoxifying of the organism
• antioxidant properties
The mix also includes spirulina, a microscopic algae that’s native to both fresh and saltwater lakes with high mineral content around Mexico, China and some African countries. It grows in thin spiral fibers, hence its name. Thanks to the phycocyanin content, it has a vibrant blue-green color.
The benefits of spirulina include:
• controlling blood sugar
• supporting the immune system
• controlling body weight
• vitality
Moringa oleifera, another beneficial ingredient, is native to India, Africa and southeastern Asia. This fast-growing tree has soft, bright green leaves that are rich in vitamins and minerals. They were ground into fine powder for use in this blend.
Green barley commonly grows on the fields in North America, Europe and Asia. This variety is harvested at the earliest stages of growth, when its soft, green shoots are the most rich in chlorophyl, enzymes and vitamins. It’s then dried and ground into powder.
The benefits of green barley include:
• energy
• normal digestion
• natural harmony of your body
To finish off the quintet, let’s mention maitake: the so-called mushroom of longevity. It’s native to the coniferous forests of Japan, China and North America where it grows in the ground close to trees. It often forms clusters and the wavy sporocarps look like bird feathers. It’s light brown, soft and fibrous.
Springtime Detox is a natural booster that will come in handy any part of the year. We recommend mixing it into a smoothie, juice or non-dairy milk. If you like to experiment, feel free to combine it with lemon juice or flavor it with honey.
