Origins
Guangxi Province is located in the south of China overlooking Beibu Bay. The hottest month in the province is July, where temperatures soar to 30°C. On the other hand, January is the coldest month, with temperatures between 6-16°C. Extensive rainfall is very common from April to September. This is exactly the kind of weather that suits the Chinese tea bushes (Camellia sinensis) that cover the hills and slopes of the local mountains.
The owners of the tea gardens always take care to harvest the best quality leaves, in this case also plucking the fuzzy buds. They are easily recognizable, sometimes silver, sometimes golden in color. The connoisseur can also identify them in the taste of the tea: the high proportion of tips gives it fineness and delicacy. After harvesting, the leaves must be quickly processed to avoid unnecessary oxidation. The production of Silver Screw tea involves steeping, steaming and hand-rolling. Steaming the tea leaves stops the oxidation of enzymes and preserves the natural color and aroma. The tea is rolled into small spirals, dried, sorted and packed.

Instructions for preparation
Pour 150-200ml of boiled water (70-80°C) per 1 teaspoon of tea.
When brewing in a teapot add 1 extra teaspoon.
Covered, let steep for 2-3 minutes, then remove the strainer.
