We bring you something new and yet so very traditional. A blend of black teas from the gardens of the mythical Darjeeling will appeal both to basic consumers and tea experts. It has an aromatic taste with pleasant astringency and tartness signature for Drajeeling. Its infusion has a beautiful deep golden color and smells slightly sour.
Origins
Authenthic Darjeelings grow only high in the mountains of northeast India. The Darjeeling resort is located at an altitude of 1830m, so it grows at a lower average annual temperature and frequent rainfall. As far as the eye can see, there are green hills covered with Chinese tea plants cross-bred with the assamica species in selected plantations. As the climate and altitude do not allow tea trees to grow all year round, their leaves are harvested from April to October. Darjeeling First Flush Lucky Hill comes from the first harvest in mid-March, after the spring rains. Therefore, the tea leaves are bright and have only a slight bitterness.
Although Darjeeling teas are marketed as "black", almost all undergo slightly incomplete oxidation of about 90%. Their cultivation, harvesting and production are under strict monitoring, so some plantations cannot certify the tea they grow, even if it grows in Darjeeling, is the true Darjeeling. It is crucial that the tea trees grow at an altitude of at least 914m, 40% are of the chinensis species and that the average temperature in the year of harvest is between 5-20 °C.

Instructions for preparation
Pour 150-200ml of boiled water (100°C) per 1 teaspoon of tea.
When brewing in a teapot add 1 extra teaspoon.
Covered, let steep for 2-3 minutes, then remove the strainer.
