Ingredients
100 % Green tea YIN XIANGBrew & Taste
Beautiful tea with a beautiful color! Green Yin Xiang tints the water lemon-yellow and envelops the room in a fresh, fruit-like aroma. The taste is astringent, very full-bodied, with a trace of peach. This tea is also perfect for iced tea.
Origins
Gunagxi is a province located in southern China, in mountainous terrain, near the border with Vietnam. It is separated by a number of rivers and is also sought-after by tourists for the famous Detian Waterfall separating China from Vietnam. Guangxi's climate is subtropical, with long, hot summers and an average annual temperature of between 17-23°C. Green tea is processed very gently by the local people. When harvesting the leaves of the Chinese tea tree (Camellia sinensis) for the production of Yin Xiang, care is taken to ensure a high proportion of silvery buds. These give the tea its delicacy. The production technology involves steeping, steaming (to stop the enzymes from oxidizing) and very careful hand rolling of each leaf. The result is a neat, dark green tea with tiny, curled leaves. They fully unfurl after pouring hot water over them.
