Black tea Ceylon OP1, 4 % Sour cherries, 4 % Rum aroma, Hibiscus, Natural aromaBrew & Taste
Ceylon teas are ideal for making loose blends. They give them a wonderful, full flavor with a slight citrus aroma. Their infusion is clear and golden-yellow, and they have a high caffeine content which can boost your energy. Ceylon teas are not bitter and can be flavored in many ways.
Origins
Quality tea in Ceylon is hand-picked by women. They know which leaves to choose and store them in large baskets balanced on their heads with wide strips of cloth. They need to collect at least 16kg of leaves daily and the amount will make about 4kg of tea. Processing is carried out by plantation owners immediately after harvesting. The leaves must first wither, and then they are rolled and fermented. During this process, they lose their green color and acquire typical brownish-black tint. Fermentation is followed by drying, sieving and sorting. The whole process is strictly monitored, as it has a major impact on the taste, aroma and quality of the tea.
Rummy Cherries tea contains tea leaves from plantations that supply highly sought-after tea. We have taken the utmost care to select the right ingredients to accompany it in this blend. We've added cherry bits to give it a sweet and sour flavor, and hibiscus for a refreshingly tart effect. As a result, Rummy Cherries is balanced, smooth and enjoyable breakfast tea. It is also suited to be served iced, where the fresh notes of sour cherries and the slight tartness of Ceylon black tea create a perfect balance of flavors.
