Ingredients
Black tea Assam STGFOPI, Black tea, Caramel chunks (condensed milk, sugar, butter), Natural aromaBrew & Taste
Assam tea gives an opalescent amber brew. Its taste has a slight astringency that perfectly balances the sweet caramel notes. The aroma is wonderfully sweet.
English Caramel is preferred warm as a breakfast tea, but you can prepare it as an iced tea, too.
Origins
Indian black tea has no competition. It's strong and extremely invigorating. Special species of Chinese assamica tea plants have large, beautiful, dark green leaves. You can find this kind of plantations in India, especially around the Brahmaputra River, where the climate is mild and humid. Harvesting is, as in other tea gardens, a women's business. They head out before dawn and pluck the leaves into large bamboo baskets. When the harvest is brought in for processing, the tea leaves are first allowed to wilt and ferment without crushing.
The caramel and natural flavors come from our EU suppliers. We picked ours based on their certifications to ensure that they only supply the highest quality ingredients without any harmful substances. The natural flavoring does not contain any synthetics and therefore does not acidify the organism, cause heartburn or irritate the stomach.
