Origins

This composition of flavors and aromas from fruits, herbs and spices is sourced literally from all over the world. But to avoid having to travel thousands of kilometers for each ingredient, we got them from a European supplier. Don’t worry though; they all undergo regular chemical analyses to verify that the fruits, herbs and spices do not contain heavy metals or other harmful substances.

Rooibos is native to South Africa's Cedarberg Mountains. This endemic shrub cannot be cultivated elsewhere, as it requires a unique composition of soil, a precise amount of sunlight and predictable rainfall. It’s also very sensitive to industrial pollution. In most cases, Rooibos is fermented, but we have opted for its green, natural form.

Sea buckthorn was originally found only in Northeast Asia, but it spread Europe and now is common around here, too. It’s a thorny shrub with round, orange fruits.

Aronia is a fruit of a plant from the Rosacea family, and it’s also known as chokeberries. It’s native to North America, but it spread to Europe in the 17th century.

Guava is the fruit of an exotic tree that grows mostly around South America. It looks a bit like a pear and has flesh that’s yellowish white to red. Its taste is reminiscent of pears and figs.

This loose leaf tea comes with few drops of natural flavoring. We never use synthetic fragrances in our products, as those can cause heartburn or irritate the stomach.

Japan Sencha Makoto – Green Tea

Tea appeared in Japan in the 9th century. Buddhist monks, who brought it over from China, spread the legend of Emperor Shen Nung: As he was boiling water over a fire one day, the wind blew a few tea leaves into it. The emperor was captivated by their scent and tried the leafy water. It was amazing! Refreshing, invigorating and delicious. Try the tea that grows in Japan nowadays. More in product details
