The black tea which is the base of this blend gives a beautiful dark brown color. It's rich in fruits and has a delightful aroma and exquisite flavor. The tea's thick and strong note is followed by a hint of exotics. The tail of the tea is astringent and therefore very refreshing. Black tea can be also enjoyed in summer! Origins
Black Ceylon tea is one of the best on our offer. It's been produced on an island in Southeast Asia called Sri Lanka since 1972. But in the world of tea, Ceylon is still Ceylon. Everyone knows that when we talk about local teas, we mean something exclusive. Tea plantations cover more than 180,000 hectares of land. They are situated in valleys, but also in relatively high hills. The tea leaves are harvested three times a year. Hand-plucking is an activity exclusively for local women. The whole process, from picking leaves to wrapping them, takes only about 24 hours. In the factories, the leaves wilt, oxidize, aerate and break. Almost all tea from Ceylon is processed, and the whole-leaf varieties are negligible in quantity. All other ingredients come from EU suppliers who guarantee high quality and maintain this standard by paying attention to sourcing, processing, storage and transportation of raw materials. Fruits and herbs are sourced from organic farms and freeze-dried. Thanks to modern technology, they retain maximum health benefits and the beautiful colour, taste and aroma of their fresh counterparts.
Brew Fragrant Garden to either cheer yourself up or to relax. Just choose how long you want to steep the leaves. The longer you leave them in hot water (maximum of 5 minutes), the more the tannins will leach out and the effect of the caffeine will diminish. Anyway – caffeine has many advantages, so we recommend not to deprive yourself of it. Thanks to it, you will get rid of fatigue and stimulate your brain. Instructions for preparation
Pour 150-200ml of boiling water (100°C) per 1 teaspoon of tea.
When brewing in a teapot add 1 extra teaspoon.
Covered, let steep for 3-5 minutes, then remove the strainer.
