Origins
As is customary in MANUworld, we have taken the utmost care in the preparation of this tea blend. We didn't just find inspiration in the books of old folk healers: we also let the palates of our whole team have a say. Thanks to their careful tasting and good advice, we managed to fine-tune Detox Time! tea to a truly first-class standard.
For the ingredients, we went to a verified supplier. This way, we have the guarantee that they come from organic farming, have been harvested and processed with respect to preserving the valuable compounds and contain no harmful residues. In fact, they can prove it with certificates and regular testing.
So what did we add to Detox Time? The base is sencha: a traditional Chinese tea whose leaves are folded into shorter or longer needles, depending on the variety and source. To make sure that insomniacs can also enjoy Detox Time!, we used decaffeinated sencha. It puts you in a pleasant mood, but doesn't stimulate the body, so you can indulge in undisturbed sleep.
We know rose hips very well from European gardens and forest edges, and so did our herbalist grandmothers. Nettles were and are equally popular, no detox tea can do without them. This important herb has been used since ancient times and its decoction is still used for many purposes today. Nettle tea detox is a common occurence for many people with healthy lifestyle. Peppermint and licorice, a sweet wood, are also important ingredients in this tea. Licorice is also often made into candies and liqueurs.
Tea packaging preview
We pack our teas in a strong, zip-lock aluminum packet which allows you to easily re-seal its contents. This container protects the quality of the tea against humidity, light or foreign odors, all of which could noticeably affect the quality of the brew.
