Origins
The mountainous Chinese province of Yunnan is the perfect place for lovers of fine teas. This region in southern China benefits from a climate ideal for growing hardy and highly prized tea plants.
Yunnan Golden Dragon comes from the Fengquing region, which is known for its aromatic teas. Harvesting is done entirely by hand, and only pickers with many years of experience are trusted to ensure that only premium buds with 1-2 youngest leaves are selected. The resulting beverage is of the best possible quality. For this particular tea, harvesting is carried out in spring. In this way, the leaves retain their freshness, natural intensity and typical aroma.
The initial processing is the same as for green teas. At a certain stage, however, the drying process is interrupted, and the tea undergoes short oxidation. Then comes another drying, this time at a higher temperature. It gives the leaves a beautiful golden color so that at first glance they do not resemble loose black tea at all. At the same time, they retain their structure and are only slightly curled.

Instructions for preparation
Pour 150-200ml of boiled water (100°C) per 1 teaspoon of tea.
When brewing in a teapot add 1 extra teaspoon.
Covered, let steep for 3-5 minutes, then remove the strainer.
