100 % Black tea Assam TGFOP1 SONIPUR BIOBrew & Taste
Dark and strong, that's Assam TGFOP1 Sonipur Organic. Tasting the amber-colored infusion you can notice a subtle spiciness. Its freshness is utterly invigorating, just how the black tea should be. However, those who do not like its intensity can add some milk to smoothen its taste.
Origins
Assam TGFOP1 Sonipur Organic comes from organic farming. No industrial fertilizers or chemical treatments were used during the cultivation, harvest nor processing of tea plants. As a result, it meets the highest standards of quality and will stand up to the demands of organic food enthusiasts.
Assam is a region in Northeast India that has made tea famous globally. It encompasses the Brahmaputra and Barak river valleys and is well-known for silk production and oil extraction. It is also one of the last places on earth where magnificent Asian elephants live in the wild. With frequent rainfall and many rivers, it is a green place all year round. The climate is mild, with morning fogs in summer and moderate rainfall in autumn. Local agriculture depends on the southwest monsoon rains.
Unique varieties of Chinese Assamica tea trees are grown in the tea gardens. They have larger leaves and are used exclusively to produce black tea. The harvest takes place twice in a year, first from March to April, then from July to September. Assam TGFOP1 Sonipur Organic comes from the second harvest and appears on the European market as a high-quality product.
