Origins
The aniseed grows mainly in Spain, India, Turkey, but it is also grown in Central Europe. It is an annual plant that is one of the world's most popular spices. Fennel, on the other hand, is a perennial shrub native to the Mediterranean, but it's also grown commercially in other places. It looks similar to dill. Fennel seeds are most often used in infusions, but the leafstalks are also used, especially in salads. Lemon balm, blackberry, strawberry and other herbs are all common plants in Central Europe.
All the ingredients we blend into our Sweet Moment tea are sourced from the EU , usually from a few suppliers who have quality certificates. Their goods come from controlled agriculture, so we can guarantee that they are free of heavy metals and similar health-harming substances.
