Pear Orchard – Green Tea
There are flavors that can take you through time. And Pear Orchard tea is one of them. Take a sip and you’ll suddenly be reliving the most cherished moment from your childhood, in a fruit orchard where pears hang so low you can reach them with your bare hands. Mild green tea combined with honey-sweet pears and apples is simply irresistible.
Ingredients
Green tea, Apple, 6 % Pear chunks, Goji, Lemon peel, Rose hips, Roman chamomile flowers, AromaBrew & Taste
This golden-green tea combines the grassy taste of green tea with a fruit infusion full of sweet pears, apples, sour rosehips, and the subtle bitterness of goji. Lemon adds a refreshing note, chamomile makes the blend milder, and all of them combined create a perfectly balanced fruit green tea with a sweet-and-sour line and nuanced bitter accent. It tastes so good you don’t even need to sweeten it.
Origin
Green tea has a long list of health benefits. It acts as an antioxidant, supports lipid metabolism and normal vascular system function. It maintains normal cholesterol levels, cognitive function and dental health. It also helps maintain normal vision, intestinal microflora and intestinal tract function.
Pears were cultivated by the ancient Greeks and Romans, who were completely enamored with them. They even thought they were divine fruits. That was maybe a bit of an exaggeration, but dried pears really do taste great – they’re naturally sweet, and their undertones are enhanced even further after drying.
Goji berries have traveled thousands of kilometers from the Tibetan mountains. The local people call them ""happy berries"" and eat them every day. They claim that thanks to them, they live long and healthy lives. Perhaps they owe this more to the mountain air than to these berries, but wherever the truth lies, they are a great addition to this tea.
These small white flowers with yellow centers grow almost everywhere, and their power has been known for generations. Chamomile supports normal respiratory function, mental health, and cognitive abilities. It acts as an antioxidant, aids normal digestion, and supports natural immunity. It also contributes to a positive mood and relaxation.
Rosehips have to wait for the autumn frost, which turns them into sweet and aromatic fruits. They tone the body and mind and give the drink a pleasant sour note. Lemon peel adds a pleasant sour line to the whole impression and helps the individual flavors stand out better.
Here’s a tip! On hot summer days, you can make Pear Orchard into a delicious iced tea. Pour 300 ml of water at a temperature of around 80°C over two teaspoons of tea and leave to steep for four minutes. After straining, wait until it’s cooled completely and serve with ice cubes, thin slices of fresh pear, and a sprig of mint. You will get a refreshing alternative to industrial lemonades, without any unnecessary additives.
