41 % Green tea Sencha, 17 % Green tea Ming Mee, 12 % White tea Pai Mu Tan, 10 % Green tea China Gunpowder Super, 5 % Green tea China Wu-Lu, 5 % Natural aroma, 4 % Blackcurrant, 4 % Redcurrant, 1 % Ginseng root, 1 % Cornflower, 1 % Apricot chunks (apricot, rice flour), 3 % Jasmine flower

Brew & Taste

The inviting aroma of 5 different green teas will enchant you right away. These teas make pleasant, grassy base flavor that can be built upon by the delicate tones of jasmine, black & red currants and apricot. The brew is a gorgeous yellow color. You can drink it right after brewing; the green tea blend brings a mild bitterness, though not unpleasant, and a refreshing grassy taste followed by an intense sensation of apricots and a jasmine finish. If you let it cool before drinking, you can experience the characteristic green tea flavors and a pleasant lasting sweetness on your palate.

Origins

The contained tea leaves are sourced from both Asian producers and suppliers from Europe, so you can enjoy high-quality green tea with a proven Chinese origin. These include Green Sencha, Ming Mee, Pai Mu Tan, Gunpowder and Wu Lu. They are grown, harvested and produced under the most rigorous conditions to avoid selling you bare tea dust or “leftovers” from production.

Sencha is contained in from of needle-like leaves, while Gunpowder is recognizable by its typical bead-like shape. The white Pai Mu Tan tea can be discerned by the fine, light hairs on the surface of the leaves, while Wu Lu is characterized by light green, very small leaves. Of course, the popular Chinese Ming Mee is also present. The icing on the cake is the mythical Jiaogulan – a unique five-leaf ginseng tea. We import it from Thailand, where it’s considered one of the most beneficial herbs in the world – even earning the nickname “The herb of immortality”.

We always ensure our fruits are sourced from the best possible place. Our suppliers provide only fresh, whole freeze-dried fruits. Freeze-drying preserves the fruit but doesn’t impact its taste, color or vitamin and mineral contents.

Japan Sencha Makoto – Green Tea

Tea appeared in Japan in the 9th century. Buddhist monks, who brought it over from China, spread the legend of Emperor Shen Nung: As he was boiling water over a fire one day, the wind blew a few tea leaves into it. The emperor was captivated by their scent and tried the leafy water. It was amazing! Refreshing, invigorating and delicious. Try the tea that grows in Japan nowadays. More in product details
