Origins
Oolongs from Taiwan are among the world's best. They are grown basically all over this island nation. Their speciality is their atypical production: the leaves of Chinese tea trees are left to wither in direct sunlight after harvesting. They are then filled into large bamboo baskets, which local farmers shake until the leaves become brittle and wrinkled. The length of time they are left in the basket determines how much the tea is to be fermented. The natural oxidation of enzymes will change the leaves' color and flavor. Fermentation ranges from 8-85%. Finally, the tea is dried, often still rolled, or rolled. Taiwanese ooolong is always produced as a whole leaf.
To achieve the perfect balance of flavors and aromas, in addition to the caramel pieces we have added natural flavoring. Because it contains no synthetically produced ingredients, you don't have to worry about it being a health hazard. Natural flavoring of the highest quality does not cause heartburn, irritate the stomach or acidify the body.
