Origins
Do you crave the taste of coffee but don't want a caffeine bomb? Are you looking for something original, smooth, something that will make your day more pleasant? Then keep reading. Vanilla Coffee cold brew tea is exactly what you're looking for. It belongs to our special cold brew range, and as the name suggests, it's quick to prepare even without hot water.
This blend is based on coffee beans. As we all know, they come from the fruit of the Arabica coffee tree (Coffea arabica), an evergreen shrub native to the Ethiopian mountains. Today, coffee trees are grown mainly in Central and South America, Africa, and Asia, mostly at altitudes above 1,000 m, which allow their red berries enough time to ripen more slowly and acquire a more complex flavor.
The coffee has a vanilla aroma inspired by the pods of the Vanilla planifolia, a vine native to Mexico. Vanilla is entirely unique in the botanical world: it’s an orchid that blooms for only one day, so pollination must take place very quickly. To ensure that the flower isn’t wasted, pollination is usually handled by plantation workers.
Vanilla beans are harvested while still unripe and then undergo fermentation, during which they acquire the much-loved aroma. Today, most vanilla is grown in Madagascar, the Comoros Islands, and Indonesia. The most common use of vanilla is in the food industry (as an ingredient in pastries, ice cream, chocolates, and liqueurs), but it also has a strong place in perfumery and aromatherapy. Its sweet, warm scent is relaxing and, when combined with coffee, creates a rich yet harmonious duo.
To make the entire experience rounder and more pleasant, this tea also contains cocoa beans, which bring a subtle chocolate aftertaste to this blend; moringa, which enriches the tea with a light herbal note; and stevia, a natural sweetener with no calories. The resulting drink is not only interesting in taste, but also surprisingly light.
