Rhubarb-Infused Strawberry – Green Tea
It’s like stepping into the rabbit hole along with Alice, but instead of Wonderland, you’ll discover strawberry aroma and slightly spicy rhubarb. Your teacup will turn into a tiny world where the colors seem brighter, flavors feel livelier, and everything seems a touch more playful than usual. Meanwhile, Qiandao green tea keeps the base strong and calm. Because every good gardener knows that even fantasy needs order.
Ingredients
Green tea, 2 % Dried strawberry chunks, Rose petals, , AromaBrew & Taste
After brewing, you’ll get a light gold tea with a subtle green hue, translucent and pure. The taste unravels in two layers: first, the mild, slightly grassy note of Qiandao green tea, leaving the palate silky smooth; second is the juicy, naturally sweet strawberry. And finally, you’ll notice rhubarb, slightly sour and refreshing, bringing the right amount of spice to the blend and keeping it from becoming too sweet, or too boring.
The aftertaste is long-lasting, with a floral note.
Origins
The base of this blend is Qiandao tea from the area around Thousand Island Lake in Zhejiang Province. After harvesting, tea leaves are quickly heated to stop oxidation and preserve their freshness as well as natural polyphenol content. Thanks to these polyphenols, green tea is valued for its antioxidant properties.
Regular drinking of green tea is associated with supporting lipid metabolism and maintaining normal cholesterol levels. It also contributes to the normal functioning of the vascular system and heart. At the same time, it supports cognitive functions and aids in the normal functioning of the intestinal tract and intestinal microflora. What’s more, it also promotes dental health and normal condition of skin and vision.
Strawberries are not only a symbol of summer, but also a source of antioxidants and natural phenolic compounds. Interestingly, what looks like tiny seeds on their surface are actually separate fruits. Freeze-drying them helps retain their color and character.
Roses are more than a decorative element. They’ve long been associated with (pre)menstrual and menopausal comfort and fertility support and also contribute to the normal functioning of the cardiovascular system and digestion. Botanists consider it an herb that promotes mental balance and normal skin condition.
Rhubarb makes an appearance as a flavoring. Its slightly sour tone adds contrast to the blend, keeping the tea perfectly fresh.
Maybe it's just tea. Or maybe it's a little escape into a world where everything fits together in its own way.
