Ingredients
50 % Red tea Pu Erh, Cocoa peel, Orange peel, 6 % Orange chunks, , Orange tree flower, Natural aromaBrew & Taste
After brewing, you’ll get a cup of dark, warm-colored tea with a mahogany, almost chocolate hue that’s typical for aged Pu Erhs. The taste is full, velvety, and deep, with the signature earthy-sweet note of Pu Erh blended with the bittersweet cocoa and mild creaminess of chocolate drops.
Orange peel and orange blooms add a refreshing citrus contrast that helps the tea avoid becoming too heavy and makes it balanced and elegant. The aftertaste is long-lasting, warm, and exceptionally pleasant.
Origins
The base of the blend is Pu Erh tea from the Chinese province of Yunnan, where it’s been produced and aged for generations. Thanks to the fermentation process, it acquires its distinctive depth and flavor, which continues to change the older it is. Pu Erh is traditionally enjoyed after meals and is sought after for its ability to support normal digestion.
Cocoa shells and chocolate drops bring an element of passion to the blend. Cocoa has been associated with a feeling of well-being and comfort for centuries and creates a delicately creamy texture in the tea that beautifully complements the earthiness of Pu Erh.
Citrus notes make the tea brighter and help keep the flavor balanced and unsaturated. Orange blossoms add a delicate aromatic line that gives Pu Erh Chocolate-Orange an elegant, perfume-like touch.
This tea is an acquired taste. It is deep, dark, and needs some time to mature. But if you’re looking for a flavor that will stop you in your tracks and keep you coming back for more, Pu Erh Chocolate-Orange is perfect for you.
