Ingredients

Lapacho Matto Grosso, Lemon peel, Orange peel, Natural aroma

Brew & Taste

We added some orange and lemon to lapacho bark. Its infusion is copper in color and has a pleasant aroma.

Origins

Lapacho is neither an herb nor a spice or a fruit. It is the inner part of the bark of the Tabebuia impetiginosa tree, which is carefully harvested no more than twice a year. It should be added that only trees over 40 years old that have not been damaged by the harvesting process are selected for this purpose. Tabebuia impetiginosa grows in Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil. It is one of the famous "Peruvian" treasures. It was, of course, the local Native American tribes who first discovered the excellent powers of its inner bark.

More and more people are looking for purely natural products. They may spend 20 minutes by preparing a brew from this unusual source, but they're rewarded with the best quality and high content of beneficial nutrients.

Lapacho is harvested by carefully extracting the bark from tabebuia trees. It can only be carried out by experienced workers. The trees can grow up to 20m and live to a long age. The oldest ones are said to be over 700 years. Their beautiful pink or purple flowers distinguish them from the surrounding greenery, and the leaves are oval and scalloped.

For the preparation of lapacho infusion, it is recommended to use glass, porcelain, or stainless steel containers. Preparing lapacho in an aluminum pot or stirring it with an aluminum spoon may reduce its effects.
