Ice Tea Strawberry Harmony – Fruit Infusion
Strawberries are as much a part of summer as cool water, a good book, a straw and... whatever else you want. They smell of sunshine and summer storms, and taste as sweet as love. No wonder we incorporated these juicy red berries into an iced tea blend. Together with apples, carrots and moringa, they make a truly harmonious composition. Just the way your summer will be.

Ice Tea Strawberry Harmony gives the infusion a beautiful red color. The aroma is full of strawberries, just like the taste, which is complemented by sour hibiscus and subtle moringa.
This loose-leaf tea is perfect for iced tea. But you won't go wrong if you enjoy it warm too.
Origins
The flavor of strawberries plays a major role in Strawberry Harmony tea. The strawberries we have added to the blend come from a verified European supplier and were preserved by freeze-drying. This unique and increasingly popular method of preserving fruit and vegetables ensures that the maximum amount of vitamins, antioxidants and minerals are preserved. It also preserves the color, flavor and aroma of the food, making it as close to fresh when covered with hot water.
The claim that strawberries are the fruit of the strawberry plant is a bit simplistic. Botanists describe them as a set of aggregate fruit on a succulent, thickened flower bed. Complicated? Fortunately, we all know what strawberries actually look and taste like. They were probably bred into the form we know today by the gardener Antonio Duchesne in 1766 in the gardens of King Louis XV.
Strawberries are perennial plants with underground rootstalks and aerial tendrils by which they reproduce. They bloom with white flowers that have five petals. Strawberry plants grow mainly in the temperate northern hemisphere, with some species also found in South America. Today, strawberry plantations appear in the USA, France, Spain, Italy as well as Japan, Poland and Russia. An incredible 2 million tons of strawberries are produced annually.
The other key ingredient in Strawberry Harmony is moringa: the dried leaves of the Moringa oleifera tree. Originally grown in the foothills of the Himalayas, it is now also cultivated in Arabia or Africa. The reason is clear. Moringa is considered by experts as a food with the potential to feed a huge number of people. Not only are its leaves edible, but so are its flowers and fruits. The bark of the moringa is suitable for making ropes and the wood can be processed in the usual way. Moringa is the second fastest growing plant in the world after bamboo.
