Happy Buddha – Green Tea
This tea blend is our original Manu formula. Happy Buddha tea is prepared with love and humility for green tea, with a sense for its taste and aroma. Our only goal in blending this tea was to offer tea drinkers a novel beverage and to show others how moments spend with a cup of tea can be enjoyable. Talk with friends, meditate, work – all best enjoyed with Happy Buddha.

As soon as you open the bag, you start to wonder what a tea with such an atypical aroma tastes and looks like.Brew it and the first thing youll find out is the grassy, tart taste of green sencha, followed immediately by the sweet accent of tropical fruit with a hint of cinnamon. Overall, Happy Buddha is sweet, pleasantly astringent and exotic. It is a true original. The infusion has a light green-yellow color with a beautiful sparkle.
Happy Buddha is wonderful for making iced tea. Try pouring lukewarm tea into a glass filled up to 2/3 with ice cubes. You'll get a deliciously refreshing drink.
Origins
As always, we've relied on the highest quality ingredients for this loose tea. The base, sencha green tea, comes from world-famous Japanese tea plantations. In the Shizuoka region, they have been growing and producing fine tea for centuries, so the harvest is always abundant and the tea is quickly distributed around the world. The remaining fruits, spices and herbs are sourced from our trusted trading partners in the EU countries and are selected with the utmost care and consideration for the processing, storage and transport of the raw materials. All our suppliers are certified, so we can rely on their quality. The fruit is preserved by so-called freeze-drying, a special process in which the food is shock-frozen and then dried in a low-pressure chamber. The water in the fruit is sublimated, i.e. it goes from a solid to a gas. This does not disturb the structure of the raw materials, so they retain their sensory properties and in many cases are almost indistinguishable from fresh fruit.
