It will keep you company not only during the winter blizzards – with a little creativity, you can make it a delicious summer iced tea, too.
Ingredients
34 % Basil, 33 % Honeybush, Candied pineapple (pineapple, sugar), Ginger chunks (ginger, sugar), Liquorice, Pink Pepper kernels, Natural aroma, Cornflower, Cassia CinnamonBrew & Taste
As the composition of Pineapple-Ginger loose tea indicates, its taste is sweet, a little exotic and slightly zesty. The licorice gives it a whole new dimension and the pepper and cinnamon add a delicate touch. In all, this yellow-orange tea sounds harmonious and refreshing and, in our experience, does not need to be further flavored.
Don't forget about high-quality loose teas even in summer! You’ll also enjoy this honeybush as an iced tea.
Origins
The ingredients for this tea were sourced from a single distributor. Our certified EU supplier holds a number of certificates and regularly checks for potential harmful content. This saves us the time and effort of sourcing ingredients from all over the world. And it saves your wallet, too. What's more, we get our produce freeze-dried. Vacuum freezing a technologically demanding method, but it prevents any major loss of the vitamins or sensory properties of the ingredients. Freeze-dried fruit looks, tastes and smells just like fresh fruit. And that is important to us.
We pay just as much attention to the choice of aroma. You won't find synthetically produced chemical fragrance carriers in our teas. The natural aroma we use does not cause heartburn or acidify the body.
Honeybush is a shrub that grows in South Africa. It is characterized by long twigs with needle-like leaves that are harvested as whole. Once chopped, honeybush is fermented and dried in the harsh African sun.
Ginger has been known in India and China for over 3,000 years. The rhizome of this perennial herb is an amazing spice and is becoming popular all over the world.
Licorice is a perennial herb, namely its highly aromatic roots. It is native to the Mediterranean, but over time it has spread to us.
This tea is dominated by the fragrant honeybush, so its health benefits are coming straight from it. But you can’t forget the other ingredients. They bring many benefits... Just watch out for licorice, as people with high blood pressure should avoid excessive consumption.
