The light yellow infusion smells pleasantly of fruit. You'll recognize most of the ingredients in the taste – fresh lemongrass, sweet apples and strawberries. The overall composition is balanced and light.
This tea can be prepared hot, but it also tastes great as an iced tea.
Origins
The origin of the ingredients of this fruit tea can be found in European gardens. They have all been harvested ripe and in peak condition. Large pieces of strawberries, apples and pumpkins have undergone what is known as freeze-drying. Thanks to this unique preservation method, they have retained a maximum of their beneficial substances, natural flavor and color. Freeze-drying is a very gentle process that is favored by fruit processors who want to achieve the highest quality. We have flavored the tea with natural aroma to ensure that it retains its original properties for as long as possible.
Apples are, of course, the fruit of the apple tree (Malus). One of Central Europe's most widespread and popular trees, it grows up to 15m tall, produces pinkish flowers and bears red, yellow or green fruit. Its sweet flesh is eaten raw, but it can also be made into pies, ciders and spirits or conserved in a jar.
Fragaria plants are also well known to local gardeners. Perennials with trifoliate leaves that reproduce by long rhizomes, flower white to yellowish and produce juicy red strawberries. Interestingly, the strawberry genus includes about 20 species, some of which can be found in South America.
