Brahmi (Bacopa monniera) is found in the humid to swampy plains of South India. It is a low herb with small leaves that covers the soil with a green carpet no taller than 10cm. It flowers with delicate pale blue flowers. It requires moisture and humidity to survive, and adequate nutrition is essential.
Brahmi is often added to supplements or made into an isolated extract. Pour 250ml of boiled water (100°C) per 1 teaspoon of powder.
Covered, let steep for 7-10 minutes.
