Ingredients
70 % Rooibos, 8 % Cinnamon, 5 % Hibiscus, Almonds, Apple, Rose petals, Natural aromaBrew & Taste
The infusion of Rooibos Fireside Moments is slightly reddish thanks to the hibiscus flowers. However, the base is beautifully mahogany, as rooibos tends to be. In the taste, one can identify a particularly delicious combination of sweet rooibos, apples, almonds, sour hibiscus and peppery cinnamon. The tea smells truly 'wintery', and thanks to the cinnamon, it makes you feel all warm.
Rooibos does not contain caffeine, so it is suitable for supplementing the drinking regime of young children, pregnant and breastfeeding women and, in short, anyone who wants to feel good and look great. However, the loose tea does contain hibiscus, which may cause a reaction. Children in particular are sometimes allergic to hibiscus.
Try Rooibos Fireside Moments as an iced tea. It will refresh you perfectly and offer you new and original flavors.
Origins
The extremely high-quality rooibos in this loose tea comes, of course, from the Cederberg in South Africa. In fact, Cape tea bushes do not grow anywhere else in the world. Our verified partner takes great care of the quality of the tea supplied. Rooibos is also called redbush tea or mountain tea, though it's not really a tea in the true sense of the word. Rooibos plants are solitary, about 1,5m tall plants with long twigs and needle-like green leaves. Whole twigs are harvested in the fall, chopped into smaller pieces and left in piles to ferment. They emerge as the tiny, signature reddish-brown needles. They are dried under the hot African sun and then sorted. Rooibos is exported to 135 countries around the world, including Japan, the cradle of tea. The fruits and herbs are imported from certified EU suppliers.
They have been carefully selected to ensure they do not contain rotten or unripe pieces and preserved by freeze-drying. Thanks to this, they retain most of their vitamins and valuable substances, as well as their sensory properties. After being covered with hot water, they have the color, taste and aroma of fresh ingredients.
