Origins
To get everything we need for our Min Mango tea, we went to a certified European supplier and selected beautiful and delicious fruits and herbs to put together something super tasty and extra healthy.
To be more specific, let's describe the two most important components of this tea: mint and mango.
Peppermint (Mentha piperita) is a perennial herb found in Eurasia, the Americas, Australia and northwest Africa. It grows to 50-80cm, has fuzzy ovate leaves and blooms with light purple flowers. It occurs sporadically across central Europe.
Mango is a tropical fruit rich in vitamins C and A, potassium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus, and it's mainly imported to Europe from Central and South America. It probably originated in South-East Asia, with records of its use dating back 6,000 years. Mango is the national fruit of India, Pakistan and the Philippines and the national tree of Bangladesh. It plays a very important role in many cultures. Mango trees are sprawling evergreen trees growing up to 40m. Their fruits are fleshy, sweet-smelling and they contain a large pit.
