Benefits of chanca piedra
Everyone knows a heartbreaker, but what about a stonebreaker? That is what they call this Amazonian herb. And like so many other mysterious plants from this not-yet-fully-explored part of the world, a gale of the wind is full of magical health benefits.
Gale of the wind is a little-known herb of lower height in our area. It is a plant approximately 40 cm tall, and its origins lie deep in the rainforests of South America. However, you can also find it in other places. It loves heat and drought, so it is easy to find it in some tropical parts of India, Southeast Asia and Africa. However, the most effective herbs are those, that grow at higher altitudes, such as in Peru.
For thousands of years, it has been extolled by both the native South American Indians and Ayurveda. Therefore, it is only right that it is gradually being discovered by Western medicine. In recent decades, several studies have been carried out that have consistently confirmed its positive effects on human health.
The dried plant can be made into a golden infusion, which is recommended to be drunk for a maximum of three months. However, pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid the gale of the wind altogether.
