The traditional tea ceremony of Cha no Yu (茶の湯) would not be complete without chashaku. This bamboo spoon with a curved end, called chashaku in Japanese, is specially designed for measuring and scooping matcha powder. It is thus the perfect companion to your tea whisk (chasen) and bowl (chawan).
