Secondly, to promote gynaecological health, mental well-being, and proper function of the cardiovascular system. If you're not sure you'd enjoy a pure rose tea, add a few petals to your favorite blend to add depth and dimension.

Origins
Roses (Rosa) could have an entire long article just to themsleves. They've been with us since the ancient times, and according to surviving findings, people planted them near their homes as far back as 4,000-6,000 BC, first in Mesopotamia, then in Persia, Egypt, and China. Up to 30,000 cultivars have been bred to date, so the original plant has given rise to plants such as tea roses, Chinese roses, noisettes and pernets. Modern hybrids include tea hybrids, polyanthus, grandiflora and others.
You see, we could talk about roses for a long time. But we'll try to summarize the most important things. They're shrubby plants, usually deciduous. They can be creeping, climbing, procumbent, and more. In the majority of cases, they have thorns, leaves with toothed edges and flowers of all shapes and colors. Wild roses can be white, pink or purple, while cultivated roses can be yellow or orange. Although many experts have devoted enormous efforts to breeding blue and even black roses, they have not yet achieved significant success.
The fruit of the rose is the so-called hip. Their natural habitat lies in the northern hemisphere, and you can even find them beyond the Arctic Circle.
They grow in places with plenty of light and don't require too much nutrients. As far as uses are concerned, apart from the rose hips, it is also the petals. They contain aromatic essential oils, so they are made into rose oil, for example, and used as a component of perfumes, soaps and other cosmetic products. They contribute to healthy skin, mental balance, menstrual and menopausal comfort, as well as to the normal functioning of the cardiovascular system, digestion and excretion.
