This blend of three premium green teas is undeniably Chinese in origin. The pleasant grassy aroma flashes between the fruity notes right after brewing. Jasmine, raspberries and elderberries give it a sweet and sour edge. Dragon of Fortune has a light yellow-green infusion. There is not much to say about the taste – it's simply great! It combines the freshness of sencha, the slight astringency of Wu-Lu and Ming Mee teas, all delicately complemented by a trace of jasmine and raspberry.
Dragon of Fortune is perfect for making iced tea. Try pouring lukewarm tea into a glass 2/3 full of ice cubes. You'll get a deliciously refreshing drink.
Origins
The building blocks of this loose-leaf tea are three green delicacies from China - the traditional and popular sencha, the great Wu-Lu and the delicious Ming-Mee. All sourced from organic farmers in China certified as organic tea suppliers. They are forbidden to use chemical fertilizers or nurturing sprays, so the end product is completely free of foreign and health-harming substances.
Chinese sencha is very similar to the Japanese tea of the same name. Traditionally in China, green tea is roasted – Chinese sencha has a typically Japanese element in the production process, which is steaming. After harvesting, the green leaves are left to wilt and then briefly steamed, rolled into needles and further dried. It is therefore characteristic of Chinese sencha that the resulting tea needles do not have a smoky aroma, but instead are characterized by a natural, slightly grassy scent.
We have purchased the fruits and herbs in this loose-leaf tea from verified suppliers. This time from EU countries. Ripe pieces of fruit have been dried using a special freeze-drying process that preserves the beautiful natural color while not destroying the valuable and health-giving ingredients. The same process was used for herbs. Thanks to the extraordinary supervision of the transport and storage of our teas, the end customer is not deprived of even the finest note of any ingredient. Also, the aroma used is purely natural – it does not give you heartburn and has a long shelf life.
