100 % CHINA BLACK SENCHA BIOBrew & Taste
China Black Sencha tea has an amber infusion of refreshing aroma and taste. It is slightly spicy at the end, which nicely balances its roast taste.
Origins

East China's Zhejiang province is famous for its tea gardens. Spread across the hillsides they have provided work and joy to generations of locals for centuries. Chinese tea plantations (Camellia sinensis) are usually found at an altitude of 400-900m. They thrive in the humid subtropical climate. The shrubs, with their stiff, egg-shaped leaves, are suited to the local hot and rainy summers and short, sunny winters.
As far as "birthplace" is concerned, China Black Sencha is not that different from the usual Chinese production. But for those who open the bag, it is obvious at first glance that something is different. Yes, this tea is not green, but black.
Fully fermented teas are not very popular in China, which makes the fact that they taste exceptionally good quite surprising. Partly because they have grown in suitable conditions and partly because they have been harvested and processed to perfection. Chinese black tea (Hong Cha) is not one of the country's main exports, as green tea is. It is therefore of utmost interest to taste these unique products.
China Black Sencha tea is, as the name suggests, made from traditional green sencha. But its natural fermentation has not been stopped by steaming and roasting. This tea has been left to ferment for a much longer time. When the tea leaves acquire the appropriate color, flavor and aroma, they are dried. In this case, on large pans. That is why the tea has a roasted aftertaste.
You can indulge in this tea until late afternoon. It has less caffeine than most regular black teas. Of course, it also contains antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. In addition to promoting mental and physical freshness, it is also credited with having great potential to protect its consumers from civilization diseases.
