100 % Oolong China HaichaBrew & Taste
A green infusion with a distinct honey hue will enchant you with its long-lasting, naturally sweet taste with a nut finish.
Origins
The Land of the Rising Sun faced an unpleasant situation. Japanese teas have long been popular, but due to many specific needs, they did not have enough suitable locations to meet the high demand. So Japanese tea masters took the unusual step of teaming up with Chinese growers. The result is a new Haicha Oolong which is now available on the market. It combines traditional Japanese production methods with the best of China's Zheijang tea groves.
The setting of this mountainous province was chosen on purpose. The fertile soil with ample moisture is responsible for the production of high-quality, firm, and flavorful leaves that are perfect for creating a perfectly balanced oolong.
Fully developed leaves are selected for the production of this type of tea. However, unlike the conventional processing method, Haicha oolong uses a traditional Japanese steaming method to stop oxidation. The fermentation is mild, which is why the resulting infusion retains its fresh green color. Then comes the hand-shaping of the leaves into tiny, undulating balls.
Thanks to the spring harvest, this tea has an enchanting floral scent. Add to that the typical sweetness and eye-pleasing dance of the leaves, which unfurl again after pouring in hot water, and it is an experience you will look forward to every time. Haicha oolong preparation also involves using a traditional tea ritual originating in China. As it is called, Kung Fu Cha will add a spell to the brew that you will never forget.
